First version of the live app
What changed
We opened the first public version of the live app. Songs, lyrics and chords sit in one place. On stage, the bandleader moves the set and the other screens follow.
Added
- Songs with lyrics and chords, and setlists you can reorder
- A live set: the bandleader moves, and the other screens follow
- A Bluetooth foot pedal for hands-free moves
- The crew channel on Mainstage
- Invites on Club and Mainstage, so members can join the band
- The full set stored on the device
Where
The live app is at live.stagerally.app. It runs in the browser on iPad, iPhone, Android and laptop. Nothing to install. You can add it to the home screen. Songs and setlists are in the app. The live set is the full-screen view. Pair a foot pedal in settings. The crew channel is on Mainstage.
How it works
Create a band, or join one with an invite on Club or Mainstage. Add songs with lyrics and chords, then put them in a setlist. Start the live set when the band is ready. The bandleader moves to the next song and every screen still in sync follows. Pair a Bluetooth foot pedal in settings when you want both hands on the instrument. On Mainstage, crew can see the song the band is on and send a short cue. Offline mid-show? Your live set keeps running. Sync picks up again when you are back online.
