Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

What is StageRally?+
StageRally is the live setlist app for the stage. Your whole band stays on the same song, with lyrics, chords and cues that follow the bandleader. Tap next and every screen on stage moves with you.
Does StageRally work without internet?+
The full setlist is stored on every device, so you keep playing when venue Wi-Fi drops. Live sync between band members needs a connection and picks up again on its own when you are back online.
What devices does StageRally work on?+
StageRally works in your browser on iPad, iPhone, Android and laptop (Safari, Chrome). Nothing to install: open the link and play. Add it to your home screen for a full-screen view. Bluetooth foot pedals work for hands-free page turns.
How much does StageRally cost?+
Soundcheck is free for one person: up to 100 songs, 50 setlists, tabs, every device. Club (up to 6 people) adds live sync, live editing and offline-first for the whole band. Mainstage (up to 15 people, including crew) adds the crew channel and email support. Club and Mainstage come with a one-time 30-day free trial. The bandleader pays; members, subs and crew join free. You see the exact price before you confirm at checkout.
Can I change the setlist live during a show?+
Yes. Add, remove, or reorder songs while you play and every screen updates. StageRally takes a snapshot when the live set starts, so one tap on Revert to starting set puts the original order back.
How do I get my band in?+
Create a band, build your setlist, and send one link. Band members sign up free in under a minute and land on the same set. Subs and fill-ins can open a practice link and read along without an account.
Can a sub or fill-in see the set without an account?+
Yes. Share the practice link and they open the setlist in their browser. One link, no account.
Does StageRally work for my sound engineer?+
Yes. On Mainstage, the crew channel lets your sound engineer see where the band is in the set and send short cues to the stage. There is a high-contrast view for the booth, plus crew presets. Crew joins free.
Can I transpose a song on stage?+
Yes. Live transpose moves a song one semitone up or down without rewriting it. Your chords follow.
Is StageRally free?+
Yes. Soundcheck is free for personal use: songs, setlists and tabs on every device. No credit card needed. When you want live sync with your whole band, try Club or Mainstage free for 30 days, also without payment details.
Can I use StageRally on my iPad without installing an app?+
Yes. StageRally runs in Safari or Chrome on iPad. Open the link and you are in. Add it to your home screen for a full-screen view.
Is StageRally good for wedding bands and cover bands?+
Yes. StageRally is built for working bands: cover bands, wedding and event bands, party bands, tribute acts. Swap the opener five minutes before downbeat, keep every player on the same song, and keep playing when venue Wi-Fi fails.
Does StageRally work with a Bluetooth foot pedal?+
Yes. Pair your Bluetooth foot pedal in settings and turn pages hands-free. No need to touch the screen mid-song.
How is StageRally different from OnSong or BandHelper?+
OnSong and BandHelper are strong tools with years of features behind them. StageRally is built around one job: the whole band on the same song in real time. That means live sync, live set editing with a one-tap revert, offline playback of the live set, a fill-in link without an account, and crew cues, on one subscription per band. As of October 2026.
Is StageRally good for churches with a production booth?+
Yes. On Mainstage, the crew channel lets your FOH engineer, stream team, or lighting volunteer see where the worship team is in the set and send cues to the stage. Crew joins free. No extra hardware in your AV rack.
