Cancellation, refunds & withdrawal

Cancelling StageRally is just as easy as signing up. Below you'll find how to cancel your subscription, how the statutory 14-day EU right of withdrawal works, and what happens to your data afterwards.

Want to cancel your active subscription for the next billing period, or exercise your statutory 14-day EU consumer right of withdrawal? Choose the option that fits your situation below.

1. Cancelling Your Subscription (Cancel Monthly)

  • Notice period: Every paid StageRally subscription can be cancelled at any time. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled monthly up until the last day of your current billing month. Yearly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time effective at the end of your current annual billing period.
  • Access until end of paid period: After you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. There are no partial or pro-rata refunds for unused days in an ongoing billing period upon regular cancellation.
  • How to cancel on the website (Stripe): Sign in at live.stagerally.app/account/subscription (Account → Subscription) and click Open Stripe portal. You can cancel there with a single click, without contacting support.

2. Purchased in the iOS App (via Apple App Store)?

Did you subscribe inside the iPhone or iPad app using Apple In-App Purchase? Then billing and subscription management are handled directly through your Apple ID:

  • How to cancel on iPhone or iPad: Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad → tap your name (Apple ID) at the top → tap Subscriptions → select StageRally → tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your trial or current billing period to prevent automatic renewal by Apple.
  • How to request a refund from Apple: Because Apple collects payment for App Store purchases, Fncy Studio cannot issue direct refunds for Apple transactions. You can request a refund directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com (sign in with your Apple ID, choose "I'd like to request a refund", and select your StageRally subscription).

3. Statutory Right of Withdrawal for Consumers (14 Days)

If you purchase a paid subscription via our website as a consumer (acting outside your trade, business, or profession), you have the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the day the contract was concluded without giving any reason.

When does the right of withdrawal expire?
For digital services that are provided immediately upon purchase, the 14-day right of withdrawal expires once performance of the subscription begins, provided that at checkout you:

  1. expressly consented to the subscription starting immediately during the statutory withdrawal period; and
  2. acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

If you start with our 30-day free trial on the website (which requires no payment details), you are not committed to anything and pay nothing unless you actively choose to start a paid subscription.

4. What Happens to Your Data After Cancelling?

  • Return to Soundcheck (no data lost): Once your paid period ends, your band automatically returns to the free Soundcheck plan. Your existing songs, lyrics, chords, and setlists remain safely stored in your account. Only the paid band features (such as live sync and the crew channel) are paused.
  • Exporting and viewing your data: You can open and copy all your songs, lyrics, chords, and setlists at any time, or request a full data export (JSON/text) by emailing support@stagerally.app.
  • Permanent account deletion: If you want all your data deleted, you can delete your account at any time via Account → Delete account in the web app or iOS app. Solo bands and all their content are deleted immediately (items moved manually to the Bin are permanently deleted after 30 days). Statutory invoice records are retained for 7 years under Dutch tax law.
