The best setlist app for wedding bands
Wedding gigs are unpredictable. The couple wants that one extra song. The DJ runs long. The venue WiFi is useless. And somehow you’re still expected to look polished while the whole band stays together.
A paper setlist can’t keep up. A group chat definitely can’t. You need a setlist app built for the stage: not a notes app, not a PDF in email.
What wedding bands actually need
Last-minute changes. The father-daughter dance moved? Swap it in before the downbeat: everyone sees it instantly.
Every role, one source of truth. The singer sees lyrics. Keys see chords. The drummer sees the running order. Nobody’s on a different version.
Works when WiFi doesn’t. Ballrooms and barns are famous for dead signal. Your set should be on every iPad before you walk in.
One link for fill-ins. Your regular bassist can’t make it? Send the sub a link. They sign up in 30 seconds and land in the same set.
Why StageRally fits wedding and function bands
StageRally is a live setlist app designed for working bands:
- Soundcheck (free): build your repertoire and setlists solo, on any device
- Club / Mainstage: live sync so the whole band follows the same song in real time
- Offline-first: your set is cached on each device; play through when venue WiFi fails
Works in your browser on iPad, iPhone, Android and laptop. Nothing to install. Add it to the home screen for a full-screen stage view.
A typical wedding gig with StageRally
- Build your master setlist at home: ceremony, dinner, dance floor
- Share one invite link with the band before load-in
- Tweak the running order before doors: live sync keeps everyone aligned
- Go live: bandleader advances, every connected screen follows
- Venue WiFi drops mid-set? Keep playing from the local copy on each device
Free to try before the season
Start with Soundcheck: completely free, no credit card. When you’re ready for live sync with the full lineup, upgrade to Club or Mainstage. One subscription covers the band; members join free.
